Unlike the other mail holders, the mail pocket here is created with a painted wood bottom with the metal attached to the front. The background is finished in an earthy chartreuse along the top and then finished with a retro graphic Japanese paper along the bottom with 4 hooks for hanging your keys while you can pop in your mail items in the slot above. This hand crafted mail holder is an original design and has been artfully created as a functional piece of art. Beautiful on it's own, you may not want to put your mail or keys on it - but this piece is most happy when used often! Makes a perfect housewarming gift or great for dressing up your home office or entry way! Japanese paper is sealed with a water based urethane.
